Three Illinois Lottery players win $50,000 CHICAGO (WMBD) -- The winning $1.7 billion Powerball ticket was not sold in Illinois, but some Illinois Lottery players still won some big prizes Wednesday night.According to an Illinois Lottery news release, three Illinois tickets matched four winning numbers and the Powerball to win $50,000.One of the tickets was bought in a Casey's General Store at 105 W. Poplar St. in Odin. Stroke deaths expected to increase by 50% globally by 2050, according to new report AUSTIN (KXAN) – Stroke is the second most common cause of death worldwide, and researchers predict the number of stroke-related deaths to climb by 50% by 2050, according to a new report. A stroke occurs when a blockage cuts off blood supply to a region of the brain or when a blood vessel bursts in the brain.
